Daly Waterproof 8S 24V 100A LiFePO4 BMS with UART, CAN and RS485 – Higher Wire Inc.

This BMS is a Daly smart (they refer to them as "software") BMS, which means it has UART and CAN/RS485 communication ports. This will work with the Daly Bluetooth and touchscreen modules to monitor battery performance in real time.
Battery Management System A battery management system (BMS) is essential in a lithium battery build. LiFePO4 batteries are much more sensitive to voltage than lead acid, and can be dangerous if over- or under-charged. It protects against over- and under-voltage as well as over-current, and ensures that the cells are balanced. This BMS is for an 8S lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery, and allows 100 amps continuous discharge and 50 amps charge. That's 2500 watts of continuous power. Wow! This is a Daly smart (they refer to them as software) BMS, which means it has UART and RS485 communication ports. This will work with the Daly Bluetooth and touchscreen modules, neither of which is included. Note that this is for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) (3.2v nominal per cell), NOT lithium ion (3.6 or 3.7v nominal)! To wire, you will need to connect battery and charge/load ground to the lead wires. You will also need to tie each of the balance leads into the individual battery cells. Note that this does NOT have provision for separate charge and load, as some boards do. Balance wiring is not shown, but is included. This BMS is suited for smaller projects, but don't expect it to be adequate to protect a large build such as an off-grid power wall. This is perfect for eBikes, scooters, go karts, etc., as well as RC projects. And the case is waterproof, so you can ride anytime, anywhere.
